Denisse C. Ilabaca, Esquire

Denisse C. Ilabaca is an Attorney at Lim Law. Since joining the firm in 2014, she has handled a multitude of cases involving complex immigration matters. Dedicated to obtaining the best option for her clients, Attorney Ilabaca is careful to review and consider each client’s individual circumstances.

Additionally, she advocates for clients before U. S. Citizenship & Immigration Services and the Executive Office of Immigration Review. Attorney Ilabaca has represented clients before Customs & Border Protection as well as before Enforcement & Removal Operations. She is passionate and understanding of each individual’s, family’s and business’s interests and goals.

Graduating cum laude from Florida International University with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy, Attorney Ilabaca went on to graduate from Florida State University College of Law, cum laude, in May 2014. Throughout law school, she dedicated herself to the study of Immigration Law. Attorney Ilabaca focused her studies on Immigration, Asylum and Refugee, and Human Trafficking Law. In 2013, she earned the title of Executive Editor for the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy, a publication specializing in international legal matters.

During her second year of law school, Attorney Ilabaca had the privilege of serving as a judicial intern at the Executive Office of Immigration Review in Orlando, Florida. During the internship, she researched complex immigration issues and worked closely with the Attorney-Advisor and Immigration Judges to prepare decisions.

Born in Chile, Attorney Ilabaca understands the plight of immigrants. She knows the difference between a dispassionate attorney and one who will work tirelessly to help those in need. Her experience is overshadowed only by her commitment to resolving her client’s immigration issues.

Henye S. Perez, Esquire

Henye S. Perez is an Attorney at Lim Law. Focusing on Immigration and Nationality Law, Attorney Perez has handled a multitude of cases involving complex immigration matters, ranging from visa petitions to defending immigrants in removal proceedings. He has advocated for clients before U. S. Citizenship & Immigration Services, U.S. Immigration Customs & Enforcement and the Executive Office of Immigration Review in various proceedings.

Graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science in 2010, Attorney Perez went on to graduate from Florida State University College of Law in May of 2014. In law school, he advocated for immigrant rights as the President of Advocates for Immigrant and Refugee Rights. Attorney Perez focused his studies on Immigration and Family Law with an interest on LGBT issues. He has previously worked at the First Circuit Court and the Innocence Project of Florida.

Born in the Dominican Republic, Attorney Perez understands first-hand the immigrant experience. He knows the difference between a dispassionate attorney and one who will work tirelessly to help those in need. His experience is overshadowed only by his commitment to resolving his client’s immigration issues.
